The balance of ordinary share capital in the trial balance above should include a 1 bonus new share for 4 existing shares on 1 October 2016, but the full amount received has not yet recorded.
The Trial balance on 30 June 2017 of ordinary share capital is $135,000 (78 million shares at 30 June 2016)
Is it means that the ordinary share capital now change to (78/4) = 19.5m shares?
Since $135,000 = (78 million x $1730.769231/ shares)So the new the ordinary share capital is (19.5m shares x $1730.769231/ shares)= $33750m. Then, this figure (33750m ) will put in the SFP in the equity and liabilities items and the issue of ordinary shares in Statement of changes in equity ?
is it right?
November 11, 2017 at 3:48 pm #415285Your question doesn’t make sense and the figures are unlikely! What’s the name of the question or the exam reference (eg June 2016)
I’m waiting to hear from you
OK?
November 12, 2017 at 9:20 am #415337it is a question on my assignment
November 12, 2017 at 10:02 am #415355Then you cannot expect me to do your assignments! Do I get the degree at the end of your course? No??? Then you have to earn the degree for yourself, sorry
But, as a matter of interest, your post cannot be a verbatim copy of the question in your assignment … as I said in my original response, your post makes no sense at all to me
