Hi tutor. I have given F7 twice so far and gotten 45 and 46 in the first and second attempt respectively. I have decided to attempt it again in the december session. But I don’t know where I am going wrong with it. Could you kindly give me some guidelines on how to prepare this time. Also kindly let me know what changes in the F7 syllabus have taken place that I need to consider while studying. Thanks a lot.

It’s 26 days since you got the result and we’re now exactly 26 days away from the December exam
OK!
First, no changes in the syllabus since September 2017 so there’s a bit of good news
Now, what to do to prepare for December:
how many times have you worked through the revision kit’s mcqs and mtqs? At least twice I assume (if not, why not?)
have you followed the course notes and worked through the course notes examples?
have you followed the lectures and understood them all?
have you (and this is REALLY important) worked through all the mini-exercises towards the end of the course notes?
If you have done all of this, and followed the revision lectures as I worked through past exam questions … then I have no idea why it is that you continue to miss the necessary 50%
Have you done all that?
Really?
Let me know and I’ll see what else I can think of to help you through
OK?
