Our lectures for both F2 and F3 cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well. They are not based on Kaplan’s material but are based on what is needed to pass the exam.
If you are watching the lectures (and you should not use the notes unless you are watching the lectures – it is in the lectures that I explain and expand on the notes), then you do not really need a Study Text. What you do need (however you choose to study) is a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers. They contain lots of exam standard questions for practice, and practice is vital to passing the exam.
Of course our notes and lectures cover accounting for materials (to the level needed for the exam). It is chapters 5 and 6 (and the lectures that go with them).
