In the new exam format won’t there be long questions from ‘audit framework and regulation’ and ‘review and reporting’? Is it only section A questions from these topics? Need ur advice!

Questions on audit framework and regulation, and review and reporting could be in Section B. I do not think it likely that there would be many marks in B on framework and regulation, but reporting seems to me to be more important.

    The F8 syllabus states:

Section A of the exam comprises three 10 mark case-based questions. Each case has five objective test questions worth 2 marks each.

Section B of the exam comprises one 30 mark question and two 20 mark questions. Section B of the exam will predominantly examine one or more aspects of audit and assurance from planning and risk assessment, internal control or audit evidence, although topics from other syllabus areas may also be included

The reason behind me asking such a doubt was bpp 2017 edition exam kit has only included section A type questions for the above specified topics.

I can’t answer for BPP’s decision. Obviously Section B will concentrate on what ACCA said would be important there.
