Hi sir, for june 2011 exam question 5(b)
In the answer key, its stated that“Daffy and co would not be able to state in their audit report that they had relied on an expert for the property valuation”
Why is this so ? Could you explain sir ?
Auditors are not allowed to state in their report that they have relied on others’ work. That would be seen as trying to evade their respinsibility.
