Which of the following is an English court normally bound to follow?
1. The answer is ‘the ratio of a court at the same level’.
2. Could you explain what does ‘court at the same level’ mean in this context?A decision made in the High Court must (normally) be followed by later judges hearing cases in the High Court
Why? Because the High Court is on the same level as … the High Court
But the Court of Appeal need not follow those earlier ratios because the Court of Appeal is on a higher level than the High Court
Better?
