Passed my F4(ENG) CBE with 70%. Used the OT notes along with the BPP text. Also completed both the BPP and Kaplan exam kit. If you have the Knowledge, the exam should be relatively straight forward.
October 23, 2017 at 7:29 pm #412968Hi Yuvraj
Would it be possible for you to give me your BPP exam kit. Happy to make a contribution. Thanks
Btw how tough was the exam? Did you study the BPP text in depth? Thanks for your advice.
November 12, 2017 at 8:01 am #415332Passed got 73% thanks to opentuition

November 14, 2017 at 6:31 pm #415776Has anybody tried Becker’s ACCA revision & question bank?
November 14, 2017 at 6:48 pm #415779Hi Nichani
I spent 2 months studying for paper f4 but it depends on personal commitment and how you plan for your studies. Just read all the topics and make sure you understand. Do the specimen exam on the acca website and the mock exam on this site. Wish you all the best on your exam.
November 20, 2017 at 1:00 pm #416897Passed F4 (CBE) with 71%. Studied with the notes and videos from FI Go. I went over the book twice. Then I took the OT practice exam twice a day for 3-4 weeks.

November 26, 2017 at 10:54 am #418051Hi,
I am going to take F4 exam on 10th December. My friends passed said to me F4 Global version is easier than English version to understand. But I couldn’t find its version for either 2016 or 2017. How can I get pdf version? Please, help me with this issue.November 27, 2017 at 9:10 am #418384FI GO = First Intuition Go (onlines videos for eng variant exam).
No cases were named that I remember.
November 28, 2017 at 3:37 pm #418690F4 (Eng) version is easier then F4 (GLO) but still I recommend deep study from the text book with good understanding of the concepts.I did not attempted exam kit nor any other short notes just did book deep study and finished the exam in 1 hour with 63% marks.
December 1, 2017 at 10:20 am #419385My mock exams I was getting around 70-76% in the exam I got 67%
Definitely learn the text but don’t memorise the cases. Just understand what they are trying to say. CBEs are definitely easier than written papers.
The exam gives clues by capitalising certain words in the first part. In the second part you will find hints to answers. Eg. the first question will ask you to define something, the third question will then tell you the course of action which will help with the definition.
December 2, 2017 at 7:29 pm #41979485% 🙂
English CBE
Studied with Kaplan textbook and revision guide and watched a few lectures.Recommend looking at ACCA website and reading the past examiner reports as they include questions that are commonly answered wrong – and one of them came up (in a different format)
December 15, 2017 at 7:28 pm #423678Passed f4 77% used the bpp text and revision kit
December 17, 2017 at 9:47 pm #423869Passed cbe ENG variant with 69%, completed in 1 hour or so. I used Kaplan study text and did all the practice questions within the study text. Not used a revision kit. I did the specimen exam in acca website and I used a phone application for practice questions (which I would not recommend though)
December 19, 2017 at 8:02 pm #424134Passed with 72% CBE on demand, 2 hours is more than enough for this exam, you can do it in 50 minutes.
I started with Open Tuition and also read the Kaplan book, bought a set of 3 tests from ACCA (annoyingly slow but it helps to understand where you are), did a sample exam…
Yet there were quite a few questions on the real exam which I had no idea of how to approach..
I didn’t really do my best to study in depth the meaning of the international payment documents and they ask quite a lot of questions about that (I’m sure my bank wouldn’t know what is a bill of exchange if I asked them but on the exam they test as if you would do it every day).December 21, 2017 at 4:51 pm #424351Passed F4 (English Variant) Today with 55%. Ecstatic!
December 24, 2017 at 4:13 pm #424709I am glad to say that i passed F4 ENG variant. I initially read half of BPP textbook, but stopped to focus on open tuition lectures and BPP Revision kit due to time constraints. The mock exams helped me a lot as well. I am looking forward to my subsequent exams using the resources on this site. Thank you Mike and thank you Open Tuition! I got a lot of my friends to sign up to this wonderful site.
December 29, 2017 at 2:07 pm #426730Passed F4Global today
My advice find the latest version of revision kit (I used bpp for exams from 1september2017-August 2018) and practice again and again.
Opentuition notes and videos r enough. I did not touch any text.January 17, 2018 at 10:29 am #430747Passed 76% Irish variant!
