    Hi Mike!

How can ceo has apparent authority and not actual authority?
When appointing a CEO, does the authority(actual authority) not stated in the contract of employment?

This is the sixth question that you have asked under this heading … and that is of NO help at all to others that may be interested in your questions and my answers

Why not use a bit of imagination and derive different titles. For example, this one could have been called “Apparent authority of a CEO”

It’s possible that there isn’t a contract of employment … in all my employed life I never had a contract of employment

In addition, a person that is appointed and officially is given the title ceo may POSSIBLY not have any authority. But in any legal case arising from that person’s actions the Court would likely claim that the innocent third party was entitled to assume that the ‘ceo’ had apparent authority

    OK?
