Good day,
Can I use June 2015 kit and practice for my December exams.
Thanks

September 26, 2017 at 11:53 am #408687Sir Ken,
as I found my thread closed and still curious to know about the syllabus change I quote the following from accaglobal syllabus guide:1) (P3) September 2016 to June 2017
“There are no syllabus changes effective from September 2016 and the next update will be September 2017.. ”2) (P3) September 2017 to June 2018
“There are no syllabus changes effective from September 2017 and the next update will be August 2018”You told me that June 2017 books will be “OK” for December 2017 session. However as the first point above clearly states that syllabus change will take place in September 2017. So shouldn’t I wait for the new books that will be coming in a week or two?
PS: In one of my queries relating to 2 months preparation time for P3 you told me to go about OT lectures, OT notes and revision kit. So if you still recommend this very limited time strategy then I think I should just grab the revision kit and leave out the study text in its entirety.
Apologies for such a long concern of mine. Awaiting your gentle, as always, response.
Regards

If you download the syllabuses and go right to the end of the document it will tell you what changes there are (none).
You have to read some notes before you try the questions. The OT notes are short and I think you should read those and listen to lectures too. Just reading answer will not necessarily give you a theoretical grounding that will allow you to answer other questions in the same area.
