” A professional is expected to demonstrate the same level of care and skill as a reasonable performing the same task.”

    1. Could you explain how this statement about breach of a duty of care is not correct?

Well, there’s at least one word missing from your question!

When a professional is carrying out a task, it is a requirement that that professional brings to their office such degree of skill and care as is expected of a person with those qualifications … and that’s invariably greater than the what is expected of a non-qualified person acting with reasonable skill and care performing the same task

    OK?
