Hello,
Struggling to differentiate between Pre-Conventional and Conventional reasoning under Kohlberg’s 3 stage moral development.
Specifically the difference between punishment at Pre-Conventional and Law & Order at Conventional level.
Thank you
September 5, 2017 at 8:52 am #405588This is what my understanding is, the pre conventional means the moral principles or rules or law regulation is something new to you e.g think of toddler to educate them whats right whats not through the punishment. Meanwhile conventional means you are already a teenager so you are used to the norms or principles or rules so you just follow or living up as society expectation or adhere to the rules as Good boy n Good girl.

Perhaps left it a little bit late.
Struggling to understand a scenario whereby rules / law would be new to a member of senior management team and therefore Pre-Conventional.
