June 2012 exam question 1(a),
Hi sir, i realize in certain past year exams, the internal control system questions ask us to provide deficiencies and recommendations to address these deficiencies.
However, in June 2012 exam question 1(a), they ask us to provide deficiencies, and recommend a control to address each of these deficiencies; and a test of control for each.
Does recommendations and control mean that the question is asking us for the same thing?
For example: From September 2016 Exam
Deficiency : Inventory availability is not checked at the time the order is placed. There is a risk that when goods are not available, the customer would not be made aware of this, prior to placing their orders. This could result in unfulfilled orders and customer dissatisfaction.
Recommendation : Before finalizing the order, the inventory system should be checked for an accurate assessment of the availability of goods, to notify the customers.
So, can I write the above recommendation + modifications to suit the scenario for June 2012 exam for part (ii) or my answer should vary totally ?

1 What is the deficiency/problem?
2 How is that to be fixed (recommendation)?
