Do we need to know the roles of the four committees for the F8 Exam?
August 27, 2017 at 7:40 am #403718I assume you mean the audit committee etc: yes ,these need to be known as they are part an important part of corporate governance.
August 29, 2017 at 9:29 pm #404170Can I use ‘Inspect’ and ‘Review’ interchangeably when describing procedures?
August 30, 2017 at 6:17 am #404206Not always.
For example, you would inspect non-current assets for existence but you would not review them for existence.
You could review the board minutes for intentions to close part of the business but you would not really inspect them for that, though you would get away with ‘inspect’ in that case.
Review is a form of inspection, but implies going through a file or book or list etc.
As I have asked before, please start unrelated queeies in a new thread.
September 1, 2017 at 12:49 pm #404858Is there a difference between the rights and the responsibilities of an auditor?
September 1, 2017 at 3:57 pm #404882I have asked you twice before to start unrelated queries in a new thread with a suitable heading.
