Hello
What exactly does that phrase mean and what is expected in an answer (generally as well as models) when it mentions that?
It means top level strategy, rather then a strategy for a subsidiary or division. Eg IBM took a decision not to make PCs or laptops amd to focus on selling services. British Airways seems confusedmwith regard to corporate strategy not sure wjetjer it should be up-market or cut-price.
what model would help in answering questions of this type?
The most useful are likely to be PESTEL and 5 Forces but depemding on the inf9rmation in the quesrion, any model could be useful.
Thanks
