Hi just want to know if the questions are complex in the real exam compared to kit? I have realized that what i have learnt in OT lectures and notes are not as complex as some of the questions in the revision kit. An example would be consolidated financial statements there are questions which include share premium account which is also needed to calculate the goodwill. I found myself getting really puzzled as this was not included in OT lecture notes and questions. Should i be satisfied about what i have learnt on OT to pass exam or should I push further and try to figure out the revision kit questions?
The examples in the Revision Kit are of exam-standard.
They are not more complex if you understand what is happening. As far as share premium account is concerned – again, if you understand the logic in the lectures (and are not simply learning rules) then it presents no problem. It is just another reserve.
