The CFO has told you that the company receives cash at a steady rate of £125,000 per quarter. The cash Invested in securities to earn 9% per annum. Each time an investment is made there is a broker charge of £75+1% of the Sum invested. She is considering whether it is worthwhile to change brokers. She has asked you to investigate the following:
1. How many investments of cash should the company make annually?

However, there is no point in simply typing out test questions and expecting someone else to provide an answer. You should be using a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers – they contain answers and explanations, and so you should ask about whatever it is in the answer that you are not clear about. Then you will get help.
