“All new primary legislation must be compatible with the ECOHR”
What makes you think that ALL primary legislation should be compatible with the European Convention on Human Rights (more likely than the European Court of Human Rights in this context)?
Surely some primary legislation is passed from time to time that has no connection with Human Rights
Interesting thought – when Britain leaves the European Union, will GB still be required to comply with European legislation?
