Which is the best way to go about F9 for the September attempt ? Starting from scratch here !
July 28, 2017 at 8:35 am #399122You should download and print out our free lecture notes, and then watch my lectures in order with the notes in front of you.
At the end of each chapter there is a link to a short on-line test which you should attempt after having watched the lecture. You must buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers – they continued lots of exam standard questions to practice, and practice is vital to passing the exam.
When you have watched all the lectures, you should then attempt every question in your Revision Kit.
if you have any problems with anything in the lectures on with any of the questions in your Revision Kit, then ask in this forum and I will help you.
July 28, 2017 at 12:34 pm #399155Thank you for the advice I do have 3 revision kits from becker , kaplan and bpp , the thing is i am also planning to write F8 in September , ive already attempted F8 twice getting 32 38 respectively in Dec 16 and june 17 i want to write F9 and F8 come september , i’m well versed with the knowlege part in f8 whereas in f9 barely know anything , do you think its advisable to give both ?
July 28, 2017 at 6:48 pm #399204Obviously some people find F9 easier, and so find it harder, and neither of us know how you will find it.
There is a lot in the syllabus, and so a lot depends on how much time you have available for studying – you clearly will need to spend some time on F8. Also, 50% of F9 is calculations – if you are good at arithmetic then this will make it easier for you, if not then best would be to leave F9 until December.
