Hey Everyone,
I understand that Mr. John Moffat has said that the situation of 4 exam sittings makes it even tougher to guesstimate which topics will come.
However, while its safe to say a major area like Risk management will appear somewhere in the paper, I’m really curious as to whether hedging/derivatives/swaps/options etc. will show specifically in Q1.
Q1 is usually a mix of topics, to be sure, but for the past few sittings I’ve noticed that RTOs, Cost of capital, reconstruction, dividends etc have been the focus of Q1 while Risk management has been kept in section B.
I don’t know if this means the current examiner doesn’t like testing it in Section A, or if the lack of appearance in Q1 in the recent past only means it likely will show up in Q1 this time.
I’d appreciate all your help. Good luck to everyone!
