Hello
I passed F6 with 81% around 18months ago thanks to OpenTuition. I am looking to take P6 this September and I am obviously disappointed that OT provide no lectures for it.
Could you give me some advice towards passing P6 please?
Would it be worthwhile going back over all of F6 then using a P6 Practice Kit? Would that be enough? It would be the UK variant if that makes any difference.
Thanks

F6 underpins P6 and examiners regularly comment that a lack of basic F6 knowledge exists with students! That said however you would not be able to deal with the majority of P6 questions based only on a study of F6.
The most useful chapters from F6 would be those dealing with the unincorporated trader, corporate tax and the capital taxes – also note the new chapter 26 tax planning issues chapter.
You will need to purchase an exam kit and I would recommend the pocket / revision notes from either BPP or Kaplan, if not indeed the study manual though this is hugely detailed and is more of a reference book than a reading book but you may need to better understand the revision notes! - AuthorPosts
