Hi all,
Just wanted to see if anyone had any opinions and advice when adjusting to the new changes that came in Sept 2016 – I’m preparing a couple of exams in June. Particularly:
– I have 2015 Kaplan exam kits; I’m assuming something more up to date would be more suitable? Something with more OBT questions to reflect the new 60/40 format.
– To students who’ve sat both the CBE and the paper format, which format is recommended? I see the CBE exam is 5 mins longer with 10 seeder questions (Whatever that means..)
– do you still get marks for workings in section c when you’re on CBE?Thanks

They try and justify it by saying its for “quality purposes” but I don’t believe this, just another reason to fail people and keep the pass rates low.
I would advice doing the paper based exam.
Best of luck!
