The CBE that I finished and passed about an hour ago was OK.
I studied a total of 6 hours for F1 by just reading the text book (I don’t recommend not studying, I think having a basic knowledge of accounting and coming from an engineering background kinda helped) and never attended any classes, because I had no time at all so I just went and gave it a shot. And success! It had many questions that needed common sense (at least that is what I thought since I basically didn’t study at all) and some about accounting models which if I studied I guess I would have known). So, to anyone having second thoughts and not feeling confident, just go for it. I wasn’t anxious I was totally chill and wanted to just see how a CBE ACCA exam is. And I did and i passed and I am so happy I can move on to F2 and F3 in June.
