Q. Which of the following correctly applies to the standard of proof in a criminal case?
A It must be proved beyond reasonable doubt
B It must be proved on the balance of probabilities
C It lies with the prosecution
D It lies with the defence
Sir in your opinion the correct answer is, A or is it C?

If you want the tutor to answer your question you should make use of the ask the tutor forum.The general forum designed primarily to allow students to help one another.I believe the answer is A.If it were a civil case it would be B as lower burden of proof required.
