Guys,
I tried to google who is considered to be an ACCA finalist but I am still confused. Can anyone explain it to me please?
I have 3 papers left: P2, P4, P5.
Am I an ACCA finalist if I have 3 papers to clear?

The term isn’t used that much from what I’ve seen, at least in the UK relating to ACCA.
ACCA use the term passed finalist, meaning an ACCA affiliate (i.e. Qualified but not yet a member)
I’d say some reference to time is important, so if you’ve 3 and you’re sitting them all in the next sitting that would be ok. Any longer and you’re not going to be qualified anytime soon as you’re not yet doing your final sitting.
The old CIMA structure with the TOP CIMA final case study based exam probably gives a better fit to the term finalist.
I stuck with the term part qualified after I’d finished the F papers up until I’d finished the P papers.
Thanks Kris. I am doing my papers one by one so I never study for 2-3 papers at the same time so until I pass my last exam I will just say I am part qualified and once I finished my last paper, then I will say I am a fully qualified accountant.
Thank you for kindly explaining this to me. I saw job adverts where they said ACCA finalist so I wanted to know so I could decide whether I should apply for those or not.
