    Hi,

Sorry I know this question may be reasonably vague but I am studying ACCA, having completed F1 and plan to take F2 and F3 in the next couple of months. I have two years experience in industry with roles such as Accounts Payable and accounts assistant so doing various reconciliations (client and supplier based), multi currency batching and transfers, charge back investigation and defence and ad hoc tasks. I may soon be looking to move into a more direct accountant/trainee accountant role, to back up my studying and current work experience roles. The company I am currently with use Sage but my opportunities to use and practice on it in the next couple of months will be limited to none and I was considering taking a Sage course to add to my C.V. and make myself more employable as there will be less of a training issue.

My question is does anyone know any certifications/programs that would directly benefit me in my situation as I have scouted around and there seems to be loads, with varying levels of detail, cost and levels of how official they are? Would a basic course completion with a printable certificate from a training program show I have the competencies to future employees to be able to use Sage (with potential further training required) or would I need to go and get official Sage training and certification to a higher level for it to have any real benefit in looking for the roles I mentioned.

Sorry if my level of detail has been vague and I appreciate any feedback.

    Thanks and Kind Regards
    Michael
