Forums › ACCA Forums › ACCA TX Taxation Forums › Computer Based Exam – Marking in the constructed response
Hi
I have an exam this Thursday and i would like to know the way examiners will mark the constructed response questions. There was an article on the ACCA website which i am now unable to find (should have added to favorites) which did detail how examiner marked these types of questions.
Say for example a question was split into two parts. The first part asked to calculate the adjusted trading profits and the second part was to calculate the tax payable after considering the other sources of income. Now what if i got the answer wrong for part A – the trading profit. Obviously i will use that figure for part b when working out the tax payable, will i still get marks for tax payable as i used the tax brackets correctly even though the figures are wrong?
Thanks
