Hi,
I hope i have misinterpreted this, but when they say you MUST attempt every question is this a strict thing, or more like advice?
I’m finding the 3 hour time allowed harsh and have struggled to complete the exam, but getting quicker. Does this mean if i say miss one of the two section C bits ill fail automatically? Or worse, even if i havent put an answer for one of section A i will fail!?
I hope its just me, and this isn’t the case!

It is advice – it is not compulsory, and you pass if you get 50% or more regardless of how many questions you attempted.
If you haven’t put an answer for all of the Section A questions then you are silly – if you run out of time or get stuck on the MCQ’s then you should guess. The chances are that you will get some of your guesses right.
With regard to Section C, there is no excuse for missing out some bits completely. You may not have time to finish or you may get stuck, but it only takes a few seconds to write one line (in a written part) or to write down the relevant formula or one of two of the figures if it is a calculation part. Just those few seconds are enough time to probably get just 1 mark, and although 1 mark is not much it is everything if otherwise you would have failed on 49!!

I will of course answer every question. I was just worried with their wording that if a question was left blank, even by mistake, they would fail it
