i came to know there is underlying root for success for every professional paper (atleast) , i think for p2 it is 2 things (principles of conceptual framework+consolidation practise) for p5 (critical thinking in advisory capacity related to company in question) . i am lagging in preparation of p4 yet and i want to keep that root mantra FOR P4 in mind while preparation for exam. Could you advise?
(is it practise?formats?concepts? )- actually i dont know .Over to you

You must watch all of our free lectures (or alternatively use a Study Text) and make sure that you grasp all the concepts and the calculations involved (there are many more calculations involved in P4 than in P2 and in P5, and also it is not as easy to guess questions as it is in P2).
Then it is practice. Practice is absolutely vital, both to get used to the style of the examiner and the level of difficulty in the questions. You must use a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers for this.
