When calculating BSOP, if d(1) or d(2) is more or less than 0, then we add 0.5 or subtract 0.5, respectively from Nd(1) and Nd(2).
What if either of them here more than or less than 0, then what should we do?

d1 and d2 will always be either positive or negative!
I meant to ask, if one of them is positive and the other is negative.
Your reply suggests they both will be same each point in time. I guess ive got the answer.

No – it is possible for one to be negative and one to be positive. You apply the rule to each of them separately.
