Dear John
the answer on page 174: average growth per quarter over the year is 14.5%, my answer is (60-40)/3=6.6, I know it is incorrect, how do i get that figure.
Many thanks.
You should not be using the lecture notes without watching the lectures. If you are not watching the lectures for any reason then you need to study using a Study Text from one of the ACCA approved publishers. It is in the lectures that I work through the examples and explain and expand on the lecture notes.
To get the average growth rate you need to take the third root – you cannot simply divide by three when it is looking at growth rates.
