hello,
i am a fresher planning to appear for ACCA Skills examination.
since the website mentions that i am eligible for exemptions in the subjects- F1 to F4,this allows me to directly appear for subjects- F5 onwards.
it would be great if i you can help me out in the following:
1. What is the average preparation time for subjects F5-F9 that you normally would suggest?(assuming that i am totally new and have to start from scratch)
2. Since i am only allowed to take up 4 exams in one sitting, how do i plan out my attempts (heard about exam window opening up in March16 also)?
3. Is there a good strategy that you would suggest in terms of having adequate preps as well as revisions and then plan out the exams?
looking forward to your response as well as help.

It is impossible to give an average preparation time because it depends on how easy or difficult you find each paper (and everyone is different). If you ask in the other F5 forum then other students will tell you their experience, which may help.
As far as preparation is concerned, you should watch our free lectures in order (with the lecture notes in front of you) – they are a complete course for each paper and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exams well.
It is also important that you buy Revision Kits from one of the ACCA approved publishers. The contain lots of exam standard questions to practice on, and practice is vital to passing the exams.
