It is linked from the main Paper F5 page:
https://opentuition.com/acca/f5/November 3, 2016 at 2:06 pm #347213I wish to take the exams in March 2017. Is the syllabus going to change a lot for that session or I can study your current notes? Also, I wish to know your thoughts on using Kaplan books instead of BPP
November 3, 2016 at 5:18 pm #347256Please do not post the same question twice in different places 🙂
The syllabus will not change for March 2017 and so the existing notes and lectures will remain. (But you should not be using the notes without watching the lectures – the notes and lecture notes and it is the lectures that I explain and expand on the notes)
If you are watching the lectures then it is just the Revision/Exam Kit that you need (because they contain lots of exam standard questions for practice, and practice is vital to pass the exam). Kaplan and BPP are both ACCA approved publishers and both are good.

https://opentuition.com/acca/f5/January 20, 2017 at 10:47 am #368534Is it alright if I just stick to OT Lectures for Paper F5 i.e for the knowledge ? and use my Kaplan Revision Kit to attain the numerical skills required … Is this a good study technique? I’ll be writing Paper F5 in March and am easily disheartened by large textbooks but feel motivated during lectures…
January 20, 2017 at 1:44 pm #368577My lectures (together with the free lecture notes) are a complete course and cover enough to be able to pass the exam well.
Do have a current edition of a Revision Kit because practice is so vital, and do download our free Study Guide from the main F5 page of this website.
And, of course, if you have any problems then do ask in this forum and I will try to help.January 31, 2017 at 10:07 pm #370443iam having a doubt on Chapter 6 (Limiting Factors ). in the example we have taken the equation as follows
MATERIAL – 2S+4E=80 KG
LABOUR – 5S+6E=180 HOURS
In this case we are trying to solve the equation by multiplying the material by 2.5. how can we solve this equation since the first one in KG and second one in Labour hours. Can we do in this way? iam confused. please explain. iam sorry if i asked you a stupid question.February 1, 2017 at 8:24 am #370469zanasn: You must ask this question in the F5 Ask the Tutor Forum (starting a new thread), not as a comment on the F5 Study Guide!!
