On Sunday, 3rd July 2016 Mehel heard from his friend, Dicky that Hako, a former colleague wishes to sell his business, “PIKO PIKO WASH” for RM 2 million. Mehel visits the car wash and seems to be interested to purchase. Hako wrote a letter of offer to Mehel on 10th July 2016 stating that “if Mehel agrees with the offer and responds through a letter within a week, the business will be sold to him. However, Mehel replies and says that “he can only afford it if he could pay for it in four installments”. Hako does not respond. Later that day, Hako receives a message of twitter from Lana, another friend, saying ‘I heard you are selling your cafe’. I would like to buy it for RM1.9 million.
On 16th July 2016, Mehel sends a letter by PosLaju Malaysia services to Hako accepting Hako’s offer and enclosed a cheque for the sum of RM2 million. On the same day, Hako replies Lana’s message on twitter accepting Lana’s offer and giving her instructions on the payment details.On Sunday, the 17 July 2016 Mehel heard from a mutual friend that Hako had sold his cafe to Lana. On Monday morning the 18 July 2016, Mehel approaches Hako at his cafe and asks Hako if he has received his letter to which Hako replied that he had not. Hako also informed Mehel that he had sold the cafe to Lana for RM1.9 million. Mehel was disappointed and very furious. On returning home that evening, Hako finds Mehel’s letter in his room. His wife informed him
that it came by courier that afternoon.

Advise Mehel whether he has any action against Hako for breach of contract. Also advise Hako if he could revoke Lana’s acceptance.
