Dear Sir, question 73, the answer on page 101, if fixed costs are $ 3.5 million at the higher sales level and so $3.1 million at the lower sales level, how do I get $3.1 million?

    Many thanks.

I am not able to post a new topic .I need tutor’s advise on this .Please help me
Is it necessary you should go through BPP study material ? I am afraid whether I could finish both text, volume is large 🙁 Will the revision kit be fine? as scheme has changed making it 60% for MCQ and 40% for problems .How to score well for MCQ? I think I lost in MCQ this time

Amelia: The question says that there is a step cost increase in fixed costs of $400,000 when sales are $6M. So when sales are less than $6 then the fixed costs are lower by $400,000 and are therefore $3.5M – $0.4M = $3.1M

shiplamary: If you have registered on this website (which is free of charge) then you should have no problem in starting a new thread if you follow the instructions.

Also, you have managed to ask this question as a comment on “ACCA F5 Key to Success” and I have answered you there.
