I have recently got myself registered into ACCA. I have exemptions in 5 subject, for december 2016 i am opting for F7 – Financial reporting. I have a BPP study material and revision kit and still i am confused whether BPP would be suffice for cracking the exam..Experts please reply

    BPP is ok

    But so too is Kaplan

    And Becker

And OpenTuition course notes, video lectures, Ask ACCA Tutor forum, open forum

And these last lot are free

What is an important matter for you to consider is whether your basic accounting knowledge is going to be sufficient to be a sound basis for F7

My STRONG recommendation is that you download the free F3 course notes and work through those at the same time as you watch John Moffat’s video lectures BEFORE you download the free F7 course notes and watch the video lectures for that paper

And, of course, you can always come back on this forum and ask any questions where you get stuck – and that’s a luxury that you won’t enjoy with BPP, Kaplan, Becker nor any other tuition provider

And (did I mention?) it’s all free on OpenTuition

Thanks for reply, i will start off with BPP along with opentution free notes and video lectures..will that be good enough to be prepared for the exams??..should i firstly start with bpp materials chapter 1?? simultaneously i will study from opentution.

Whereas basics is concerned..i am confident i am having pretty strong basics, hopefully directly starting f7 wont be a prob.

Personally … I wouldn’t even open the study text!

Get into the notes and lectures, the mini exercises at the end of the notes, and then heavily into a revision kit whether it be BPP’s, Kaplan’s or any other provider’s

Ok, thanks for all the suggestions.

I will start it from today onwards, what i will do first as u suggested i will go through F3 notes once and then will start off with opentution notes for f7 and revision kit of BPP. Hope thorough study of above things and practicing the revision kit should be enough to crack the F7 exams.
