Dear Tutor, there is question which i can’t find relevant information from note.
secondly plc has 700 employees. it filed its PAYE return due on 31 January 2016 on 4 April 2016. this was the second return that it had sbmitted late in the tax year 2015/16.
what is the penalty that may be imposed by HMRC on Secondly Plc for the late filing of its PAYE return due on 31 January 2016?
the answer is 400. and instructing that secondly plc has over 250 employees so the penalty is £400. would you please help me where can i find these information in note, i can find them?
many thanksOT course notes Chapter 9 page 67 Section 8.2 part (c) covers the basic issue. If you want absolutely every possible point in the syllabus then buy a manual from BPP or Kaplan – the latter of which is over 1000 pages.
The notes were never designed to cover every point of detail but are there to give the student more than enough knowledge to pass this exam and pass it well!
