    sir i want to ask whey they took discount while calculating proposed payable days
    i calculated :
    456000 x60/365= 74959 current
    456000 x 30/365= 37479 proposed
    reduction =37480

    cost 37480 x.05 = 1874
    benefit 456000 x.01 =4560
    net beneft = 2626

    As I explain in my lecture on this, the examiner is not consistent – sometimes he removes the discount and sometimes he doesn’t. There are arguments for both.
    Because of this he has said in the past that he accepts either, and so what you have done would still get the full marks.
