Hi,
I am new to this forum.I have recently graduated from University with an Accounting and Economics degree.
The aim is to sit for F6 and F9 in December. The books that I bought are from Kaplan, do you reckon that the books are sufficient or would you recommend other resources?
Moreover, I am planning on studying three/four hours a day until December…is this enough to pass?Thanks for all replies.

Self-studying “simply” requires motivation, planning skills, self discipline and method.
Based on my personal experience self-studying is totally feasible.
I started the Acca journey in January 2015, so far I completed 10 papers while working full time and if everything goes as planned, I’ll finish by December.
The only resources I have relied on are OT notes and lectures plus, of corse, an up-to-date revision kit for all the papers. I also read the technical articles written by the examiners, especially for P1.
It does not really matter which publisher you go for, imo. The key to pass is practising many past questions under exam conditions.
Also note that there is an extremely useful “ask the tutor” forum, if you have any question about the papers you are preparing.Best of luck.
