hello dear tutor
I attempted F7 in june and got 45. I am resitting it in September but ACCA has made changes in the exam format and the syllabus. I am really confused on how to prepare for it this time to get that pass. I am really panicking and I don’t want to fail this time. Could you please help me out here and give me suggestions on how to prepare in a month.
Thanks a lot.August 11, 2016 at 5:38 pm #332741Lots of mcq practice
Lots of opentuition mini-exercise question practice
Lots of test questions at the end of each opentuition F7 course notes chapter
Lots of old style question 2 practice
Lots of consolidation practice and, finally
Lots of cash flow and interpretations practice
Do that for as many hours in each day as you are prepared to devote to seeking success and hopefully that will see you winning the global prize for F7
Oh! And post here again whenever you encounter a problem that needs resolution
August 12, 2016 at 12:58 pm #332848thanks a lot for the suggestions. Do I need to practice ratios as well or can I leave that topic?
August 12, 2016 at 1:31 pm #332850No, of course you need to practice them – that’s an integral part of interpretation!
August 13, 2016 at 1:47 am #332905Right! I’ll do that. Also I am very concerned about all the mcqs in section A amd B. I have the most difficulty getting those correct. So how to prepare for those? Will doing the opentuition mini exerises be enough?
August 13, 2016 at 7:42 am #332923Mini-exercises will certainly help … but will they be enough?
I doubt it.
You need to put in hours of practice at answering mcqs. There’s no substitute for extensive practice
I assume that you own a revision kit / exam kit!
August 13, 2016 at 11:54 am #332943yes I do. Ok so I’ll practice the mini-exercises from opentuition as well as the revision kit. Thanks a lot.
