Hi John. I’m have question regarding Acca f5 new format, I have seen the format yet but my question is do we need to show working on those 3 case study question?? I only know that no need to show working for MCQs and we do need to show working for the 2long questions. Thanks in advance
August 10, 2016 at 2:52 pm #332538The 3 case study questions will be marked by computer and so although you will need to do workings for most of them, the workings will not be marked.
As with the MCQ’s, you should do your workings in the answer book but do not waste time being neat (because they will not be looked at) but do head the pages up ‘workings’ so that the marker for the Section C questions does not get confused 🙂

August 11, 2016 at 11:48 am #332682Hello John,
The introductory video on the F5 page does not have content that reflects the new f5 exam format. Can you please kindly update this to help students with the awareness of the new format.
Many thanks
August 11, 2016 at 2:46 pm #332712It will be updated soon.
However you should have received email newsletters from the ACCA about it anyway.
August 11, 2016 at 6:12 pm #332747Hi john ,
I didnt get the point should we answer 3 case study mcqs in the answer booklet??
August 12, 2016 at 5:53 am #332788No – there will be a special sheet to record your MCQ answers on.
(You can do your workings in the answer booklet, but the workings are not marked) - AuthorPosts
