It’s stated in the F9 September 2016 study guide that the two 20 mark questions will mainly come from working capital management, investment appraisal and business finance areas of the syllabus. That means the financial management function, financial management environment, business valuations and risk managements won’t be ask for in the long questions right ? they would only be tested in the MCQs and scenario based MCQs right ?

It means that they are less likely to be the main part of the two 20 mark questions, but there is no reason why bits of them cannot be asked.

Why have you asked this under the heading “September 2016 exam”? You must start a new thread when you are asking about something different.

I don’t know which question you are referring to – the only risk management question on the hybrid exam that has been published is Plam Co and this related only to the payment of interest.
