Hi
I am sitting the paper in September but am using my books from last year as a resit – I just wanted to know if I am sitting paper based how the format will be as I am a little confused now?

Our guidance still needs to be updated.
There are now 3 case OT questions, each consisting of 5 OT questions linked to a scenario. Then there are three longer, conventional written questions (30, 20, 20 marks).

Would the concepts of IAS and IFRS required to study F8?
What would you recommend?

August 14, 2016 at 11:54 am #333089Not in great detail. Know what contingent liabilities and post period-end events are. Not much else financial reporting needed at F8.
If you look at recent exams and their answers (say the last 6 available), you will get a good idea of what’s needed.
