I just wanted to know whether resiting in Sept is a viable idea or do it bit later?
Im also working and I want to do either p1 or p3 along with p4. Can u pls help me on this matter.
I have scored 48 and I studied within 14 days, but couldnt nail it. 🙁I am sorry that you failed – especially being so close 🙁
However, because of that I would retake just P4 in September. With obviously that bit more time I am sure you can pick up the extra marks needed.
I would leave P1 and whatever other paper you choose until December – why share your time for September between two papers and then risk failing P4 again?
If you are determined to take two papers in September, then I cannot really advise whether to choose P1 or P3 (because I do not teach those two papers). Both papers are written (as opposed to calculations) and best would be to have a quick look at recent past papers to see what you think of them, and also to ask in the P1 and P3 Ask the Tutor Forums where the respective tutors will be able to advise you.

I’ve written P4 4 times
P4 with another P – Got 37
P4 by itself – 15
P4 with another P – 39
P4 by itself 39It’s quite demotivating. It’s also my last and final paper to be qualified.
I want to finish Asap. I have been using LSBF in the last two attempts, however I’m unsure if I should continue with my old notes. I would like to use the open tuition since very reliable and also FREE. I’ve spent a lot of P4 exams previously.
However, should I get an additional kit although using open tuition resources?
I was wondering if it will be enough to use the old past papers, I know the syllabus has changed a lot, therefore can you help me out in letting me know which ones are out of the syllabus?

Best would be to buy a current edition of the Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers (BPP, Kaplan or Becker).
If you download our free Study Guide (linked from the main P4 page of the website) then it lists the best past questions to practice on (although the more questions that you practice, the better).
Can I know how should I approach my second attempt?
What areas do I need to focus on?
