why you did not not add purchase cost of inventory during calculating inventory cost??i think total inventory cost cant complete without purchase cost of inventory…what is the reason behind it??

The purchase cost is payable however many we choose to order each time and is not affected by the amount ordered each time. It is not a cost of actually holding inventory and is only relevant when considering quantity discounts.
