Sir, In your lecture note in chapter 10 example 5 you have worked out the consolidated retain earning and NCI twice
for both of this you have done working one with b/f and one with c/f,……….Why?????
and for this type of situation which one should i choose when preparing the consolidated statement of financial position or show in my CS of FP
It was an opportunity to show how a statement of changes in equity is prepared – I don’t do one for the preparation of financial statements type question so did one for a consolidation instead.
But you cannot be asked to prepare one for an F7 consolidation question
Does that relieve your worries?
