August 15, 2016 at 8:56 pm #333412Hello Sir,
I want inquiry about F5 sep16 attempt. Should I all focus on mcq’s only? What exam strategy should I adopt.I am nervous about new pattern. Please help me Sir……
New pattern is about 3parts.
A mcq’s
B mcq’s on case study
C 2 subjective questionsAugust 16, 2016 at 5:00 am #333441In future, please ask this sort of question in the Ask the Tutor Forum if you are wanting me to answer (and not under a thread referring to the free lecture notes).
The change in exam format does not affect at all what you have to learn, and so your studying should involve watching all of our free lectures (together with our lecture notes) – they are a complete free course and cover everything needed to pass the exam well.
It is then a question of practicing as many questions as possible – both MCQ’s and long-form questions. For this, you must have a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers and you must practice every question – the Revision Kit has plenty of questions of all the styles for the exam.
August 3, 2018 at 11:05 am #465965Please sir I need F5 notes 18 December
August 3, 2018 at 5:34 pm #465997If you are referring to our lecture notes, then you can download them by following the link from the main Paper PM page (the ACCA has changed the name of the exam from Paper F5 to Paper PM).
Do note that there is no point in using the notes on their own – they are lecture notes and you need to watch the lecture. It is in the lectures that I work through the examples and explain and expand on the notes. If you decide not to watch the lectures for any reason then you must buy a Study Text from one of the ACCA approved publishers and study from them. Paper PM is a hard exam and you will not pass it without studying properly.
However you choose to study, you must buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers. They contain lots of past exam questions (and other exam standard questions) for practice, and practice is vital to passing the exam.
Again, it is a hard exam – harder than exams you will have taken at university.
