Hi Mike
the bpp revision kit states that privet companies required to keep their accounting record for 3 years but I thought it is for 6 years. Is that right?
Thanks
Oksana
Here’s the UK government website address to check this question
If you scroll down to “How long to keep records” there seems to be no distinction drawn between public and private companies – it seems like 6 years (or sometimes longer)

OK?
Hi Mike
Thank you, that’s right.
BPP book says – 3years, which is wrong. Now, I can’t trust the book.
Thanks for your help.
Oksana
