what’s confusing me is that the answer booklet shows the answer as B but wont that be t/put per unit and not return per hour
from what my understanding is :
Return per hour is Sales-DM cost/ Bottleneck res per unit
whereas t/put
would be return perhour/cost per hour

The return per hour = throughout per unit / hours per unit.
The throughput return = 320 – 80 = 240
The hours per unit = 6/60 = 0.1
Therefore the return per hour = 240 / 0.1 = 2,400.
