Hello dear tutor…
My question is about Q4 of the exam which is about current issue.
1)I know that IFRS 16 lease can be asked in this part.what is the available resource which we should study for this new standard?unfortunately there is no article for this standard in ACCA’s website.
2)What are other issues which can be questioned as current issue in june 2016-Q4?(in your opinion)
3)What is the best source for us to study for current issue?is it enough to study past paper Q4s?

Hi,
Current issues can cover just about anything. The best way is to work the recent past exams because they give you an excellent idea about how this question is tested, as well as helping you understand the updated accounting standards.
A typical question usually follows the following style:
1. Knowledge of current standard
2. Issues with current standard
3. Application of rules in the new standard.Leases will definitely be examined at some point in the near future, so maybe June.
