Hi
I would like to know why the “Cut hrs” and “Treatment hrs” are given for the Salon Assistant and the Junior Stylist for comparison with the Senior Stylist in determining the bottleneck activity when neither the Salon Assistant nor the Junior Stylist carry out these specific tasks but instead wash hair and dries hair respectively?
Shouldn’t they provide “wash hrs” for the Salon Assistant and “drying hrs” for the Junior Stylist to compare with the “Cut” and “Treatment” hrs of the Senior Stylist instead to know the actual bottleneck activity?
May 18, 2016 at 3:01 pm #315643I have recorded lectures working through this question in detail. If you watch it then you should find the answer to your question 🙂
You can find it by following the link on the main Paper F5 page called “Revision Kit Live”.

May 18, 2016 at 3:28 pm #315661You are misreading the question.
The salon assistants only wash hair – they don’t do anything else.
It is simply that if the customer is having a cut, then they spend 0.1 hours washing. But if the customer is having a treatment, then they spend 0.3 hours washing.May 18, 2016 at 7:11 pm #315690Ahhh ok.. Thank you very much 🙂
